I'm really sorry to hear about your uncle.
It must be really tough right now.
I can relate to what your saying re:giving up.
But it sounds like you've got a lot of things you want to do with your life still. Like travelling and training to become a nurse.. Theres nothing set in stone that says none of that will work out?
I also can relate to the coming back from traveling bit.
I also went traveling and coming back to 'nothing' is hard.
I had my parents/sister to come back for but with no job/no plans yeah it is tough. But the traveling is so worth it, I thought.
Anyways, sorry this probably hasn't helped any.
I just wanted to let you know I read and I care.
And I reckon you can do this.
