I am not married so can't say from a personal situation. My main worry is that he didn't tell you. I think talking through this is a good plan, as to whether it can be saved, I think you have to decide that. Although, my dad had an affair and mum stayed, they were actually stronger, so I guess it can work but would I personally be able to do it, I wouldn't be able to forget. I think that is one of the hardest but most important things, if you do decide to work on it, you need to forgive and forget completely, it cannot be used as ammunition.
