Maybe I missed it, but did anyone suggest a rule change? I don't think so, and that wasn't the question asked in the original post. Since opinions were wanted, opinions are given - that's no need to turn it into an argument.
So basically, saying that RYL is becoming more cotton-woolly wouldn't be technically correct, seeing as no change to the rules has been proposed. Whether it's too cotton-woolly now is a different debate, but I guess it's impossible to find a middle ground everyone is happy with.
I'm a bit of an on-and-off visitor on pic threads, but I can't say I've come across pictures of bandages much. Nothing obvious, anyway.
I also just read back to see if I forgot something and was about to quote myself because I thought "hey, I agree with that person" and then realized it was me. I'm sad. :P
