I think that if someone wants to post a picture, and they happen to have a banadage on, they should still be allowed to post. It has to be better than having visible wounds, yus?
If I broke my arm, and had a picture of me (that showed my arm in a plaster cast) should I be allowed to post it?
Maybe not everyone can deal with seeing bandages on someone, but in my honest oppinion, tough. Look at the title of the thread, if it says "may be triggering" for whatever reason, and you dont want to risk getting triggered....DONT LOOK!
Seeing bandages on someone, in a picture to me is the same as seeing them on someone whilst out and about. Would you go up to someone and say "Excuse me. Seeing your banages upsets me, and makes me feel bad. Could you please keep them covered when out of the house?"
And RYL is a website that deals with SH/mental health issues/ED etc. There is bound to be things in here that not everyone likes/might upset some people.
I guess to me, the main issue I've seen here is people not using common sense. If you think it might trigger you/make you feel more triggered than before, dont risk looking at it. If you do look and it makes you feel worse, stop looking. Dont slate other members unnecersairily. (sp)

My point is...pictures with bandages/new scars are fine. Open wounds etc. not so fine.

Ok..so rant over.
