I don't suffer with C.F.S, but my mum has fibromyalgia and C.F.S can be closely linked/coupled with it, so I can see what effect it has on someone. I can remember being quite young and her not even being able to get out of bed through being so exhausted.

The symptoms you describe do sound as though C.F.S should be looked at as a possible cause for them. Maybe you could change the doctor you see and get a second opinion? There is a test that can be done to "diagnose" fibromyalgia but I'm not aware of any test that diagnoses chronic fatigue syndrome, so I think you'd have to ask your doctor.

C.F.S can be massively misunderstood, but also debilitating as you know, so it's worth fighting to have this checked out. If you don't have the strength to, enlisting the help of friends and family who understand and know how you are could really be useful, even if it's just writing letters on your behalf.

Good luck, hon

So you found a girl
That thinks really deep thoughts
What's so amazing
About really deep thoughts?
