I don't know anything about CFS I'm afraid :( I just didn't want your post to go unreplied. All I know about it is that I had a friend who briefly mentioned once that she had previously had either CFS or ME (can't remember which) she said she didn't even have the energy to get out of the bath. She got better though, so maybe there is some hope.
I'm sorry that your doctor isn't very forthcoming with information - have you suggested the possibility of CFS to her?
