But why does it matter if Fenrir was named or not? He was a deatheater. That's why he was there. That's the important thing. And if someone hasn't read the books, they're just going to think "oh he's a death eater". That's all! If you're explaining things to them, then stop! Just say "he's a death eater". He's not important at all in this movie or in the next really.
It matters because it was unclear who he was. He's not really a Death Eater either, he's a werewolf who supports Voldemort's cause. I know he's not important, but making it clear who is who for people unfamiliar with the books is important, in my mind.
It's a movie. If you're watching it and expecting the same level of detail as the book you will never be happy and I would seriously reccomend against watching the next two movies. Unless of course you're just one of those people who likes to pick apart movies....
As I've said, I'm not. What I do want is for the major plot lines to be followed in such a way as to portray the essence of the book, and for it to be done in such a way that you don't have to be a Potter-head to fully understand.
