i have met plenty of nice people online but not in a romantic sense. i have a lot of friends online through having my daughter, we all met on a pregnancy/child orientated website, set up our own forum and have all remained in contact.
one of my ex's i knew from the internet, i met him in a scottish chatroom. he lived nearby and i bumped into him in the street one day. i recognised him, we got chatting, we ended up going out and he was lovely up until he got into my knickers. then he turned into the biggest asshole that ever walked the face of the planet.
so my experiences of internet relationships are not good. but my dad however is married to someone he met online and they are expecting their second child.
