Heya
At your first appointment with CAMHS, they'll probably want to talk to you with your parent/guardian, with them on their own and with you on your own. At my first appointment, a social worker spoke to my mum whilst i spoke to the psych and then the social worker and psych went off to talk to each other to decide what would be the best plan of action.
If you express that you are a danger to yourself then they may need to inform your mum. However, they should tell you they intend to do this beforehand.
They will probably want to know about the reasons you have been referred to them and about what's happened in your life so far. They will understand if you are nervous and you will get a chance to ask any questions if you want to.
If you really do not want your mum to know stuff, you could ask the psych what they would do in a hypothetical situation. For example, you could say 'if a person were to tell you they self harm would you have to inform their parents?'. However try not to keep stuff back from them because the more they know, the better they will be able to help.
If you've got any questions, PM me and i'll do my best to help :)
Good luck and let us know how it goes.
xx
