I have heard that recording what the last thing you remember is and also recording what you believe you did during the episode can be helpful to find a pattern. That way you can try to figure out what triggers you. And if you are in a situation where you notice any of the triggers you can try some deep breathing and grounding techniques to try to keep yourself present.

Doing yoga or meditation consistently allows you to ground yourself during stressful times. Also, I have heard that having a piece of fabric that is comforting like velvet or felt to rub when you feel upset or triggered it can help.

I used to have this happen all the time. However, the time was just gone. It would start and not end until i went to bed and slept. So I would never really notice when I did it until someone would show me that we did something and I did not remember it at all. It was scary and frustrating. You will be fine.

listen and learn
the universe speaks
as we crawl and crave
as we love and weep
there is no fate
there is only what we make
