But this is my POINT. This was brought up MONTHS ago in the F&CQ when Irene (Morrigan) started a thread asking exactly what the point of the First Aid board was - because the articles clearly state how to take care of wounds, and yes, sometimes (especially for the first time if you cut deeply) you are going to freak out, but from experience after 5-10 minutes you more than likely come to your senses and so are able to look up the guide to know how to treat the wound.
People are asking more and more complex advice on the FA board that the FAA's aren't able to answer because they don't actually have the OP's medical records at hand.
You're telling others to help themselves, but you're also giving these people the option to flood boards like the First Aid Forum because no rules/regulations are put into place about anything - so you can't moan about something you aren't going to do anything about.
And i think whoever said this isn't about the FA board, well, that's a load of tosh because quite frankly it's one of the only boards someone actually asks straight out for advice.
