I am currently:

Therapy and medication takes a while to see results. The usual approach is to increase your support group (therapist, family, friends, etc.) and get rid of stressors when possible. I know this is not always possible but you and your counselor can work on ways of managing the stressors that you can't get rid of.

I don't know if this will help but when there's an obstacle that's weighting me down I ask myself the question, is this something I'm going to remember in 5 years. If the answer is no, then it's probably something I shouldn't let overcome me. If the answer is yes then thats probably something that therapy would be helpful for.
