I always have weird dreams. I had one about one of my old psych nurses once where we ended up kissing - I faniced him and have bumped into him a couple of times since I've been at uni because he moved here after he stopped working at the unit. It was so realistic though that I ended up in a daze for a couple of hours after I woke up while I was trying to piece it all togehter and work out how much of it was real.
I had one last week that I was in my school changing rooms (that looked nothing like my school changing rooms) looking for a toilet but all the ones I went in were blocked or had holes in the walls that looked like they were meant to have windows in. I remember becoming aware of the fact that I was dreaming about peeing so I should probably wake up but I couldn't wake myself up and was getting really worried that my housemate was gonna come wake me up and find me in a piss-soaked bed! Luckily, woke up before any embarassing situations occurred. Lol!
I've been reading loads of Freud lately for uni, dream analysis etc. Although he said that dream symbols are fairly universal (what an oven in my dream means is the same as it would mean for you. Incidentally, Freud thought an oven was a symbol for the female reproductive organs), I think dreams are a lot more about your own individual meanings, links, thoughts, etc. Generally, if you think about the significant parts of a dream you can find something in your life it could represent.
