Hun, well done on not cutting so far. You can get through this and these urges will pass. *HUGS* Keep yourself busy, if possible. Watch TV, play online games, text/phone a friend, listen to music, have a bath/shower ect. Hang on and don't give up! Tell your parents if you want, it's your choice, but remember sometimes parents have negitive reactions to their childs self-harm. They might get angry or upset. They don't mean this, they just are probably confused, upset, worried, scared, not sure what to do/say. It can take some getting used to. When I told my mum it wasn't half as bad as I thought it was. She was very caring, supportive and understanding - even though she didn't fully understand self-harm until I explained it to her. Good luck with whatever you decide to do.
