I don't think RYL is that bad at all! I was browsing a forum one time for general things, not a specific or support forum and there was a relationships advice section.
There was about 2 topics asking for advice on how the relationship was going and the rest of it was all topics like "funniest places you've had sex" and "how can I give the perfect blow job" (which I think was actually stickied 
) And in case anybody asks, I didn't click =P
There were plenty of people on there aged 10/11 from what I gather.
I don't think RYL is very graphic and all adult topics are labelled. If people don't want to read them then they shouldn't click on them.
I think some topic need to be discussed and people often need help with them, it would be unfair to say they couldn't ask for help because there are young members on here.
I don't think it needs to be made stricter, I think it's just about right now.
People don't make any bad jokes either, like Kaya said, I can't see it having a detrimental effect on any members.
