Hmm I think I know what your problem is. You have the wrong sort of bank account. You need to request a transfer to a student bank account. This happened to me in my first year at uni and I couldn't understand it. Then one day I realised it was because my account wasn't a student one. It should say on your statements 'Student Account' (or whatever they are called these days). Those accounts do not require money to go into them once a month. But they do require proof of you being a student and having some kind of student loan. I've not read any of your other threads so I'm not totally aware of your situation.
