It will be intense and definatly hard work, but because of the hard work you need to put in, the benefits can be great. Do some research on the therapy and ask questions whenever you can. Its known to be the best treatment for borderline PD, but I believe that to only be true if you are completing an outpatient programme. Results are not clear when DBT is delivered inpatient, as the type and dynamics of the unit are also cruicial to recovery.
