People like that just ****ing annoy me. She does not know what she is talking about Nathan, she is not worth getting upset about. Maybe she has had the odd bout of 'depression' herself, or knows somebody that has, but it does not give her the right to say what she is saying. I happen to agree with what you are saying i.e the mental illness being no defence. If it makes you feel better then tell her your own history, but I don't see why you should have to justify your position with your own story if you don't want to. Please don't let this upset you too much. She is just an ignorant stranger.
