I pretty much agree with Liv above. At maternity meets it'll be a given that kids and/or babies will be there, at Vets meets it should be discussed on the thread and get everyone's approval of children being there, and at all other meets no kids or babies should go.

I personally would not want to be around a baby or a young child.
