I miss my grandpa too. He died at 67 when I was 10. We always visited practically every weekend until he died. My dad would do the house renovations and I would be mowing lawns etc because cancer had made him to frail. We were very much alike and shared many good times. I try to think of the years we had together and be thankful for them rather than focussing on his passing away, it makes it much easier to deal with. Christmas time is a bad one for missing people that have passed away. I hope these feelings can pass soon for you.
