Ye, kinda. I was diagnosed with depression for like almost 2 years..I did try to suggest for my terapist that I wasnt sure if it was right diagnose, and if it could be possible that it was bipolar instead..She didnt listen to me at all...But when I got hospitalized a couple months ago, they eventually(after several weeks) told me I was bipolar :P
But I find it strange that they gave you medication for bipolar without telling you that they thought you were bipolar. Ive heard that you have to be hospitalized and you have to get informed before they put you on mood stabilisators...
