I am currently:

Depression makes us feel like there's no way out, we're stuck in a pit and we're basically screwed. The darkness suffocates us and it feels like no-one realises how bad it's getting
I've watched my aunt battle depression for as long as I can remember, and I'm struggling with bouts of it myself and I can tell you that it is very hard work to recover, but it is possible
She's survived and she's coping. She lives a normal life and has two beautiful baby boys now.

Make use of the people around you, they're all there to help, the help lines, the doctors and the counsellors. And us. At least one of us has gone through what you're going through and lived to tell the tale.
Depression IS treatable sweetie, it's hard work and you want to give up a lot of the time, but you can get better and you deserve to get better.

Keep your head above the water and just keep swimming sweetie. (}) Stay safe. xo
