Taking water, biscuits and sweets in with you sounds like a very good idea. I think you should explain to the nurses why as well when you get there as they may have some other ideas on how you can eat safely. I'm so glad that you're going to be able to go into supported accommodation afterwards. Hopefully that will give you more confidence to be able to cope on your own and interact with people. Thanks for your kind words....I will try and find my favourite nurses in Seacole Ward (not that there are many of those in Seacole) and I'll talk to them about why I'm carrying food around with me. I am looking forward to going into supported accomodation because, as you said, I'll be able to gain independence. I've been living with my parents for my whole life and I need to learn how to live alone, especially if I want to prepare for uni in October 2009. The only problem is is that my Mum may strongly object to it, but I really want to go to supported accomodation... Thanks, you take care too xxxx
