I just googled Risperidone withdrawal to see what it said. The first page gave me a list of 85 possible effects including some pretty severe both physical and psychological ones. If I were you I would print it out and show her the evidence. Or you could ring NHS direct and get their advice. Either way I really think you need to let your mum know that at the least you need to taper the dose and not just stop suddenly, for your physical aswell as mental health.
