Hey Sofie - I just discovered your post now ...(sorry its kinda late ) ... but I was interested to know what happened with the doctor ?

Were you able to mention your thoughts about ODing to your doctor?
Did he give you the referral to a specialist?

I'm sorry that I didnt read this sooner, but I dont think your doctor would get too concerned by your thoughts about ODing with your medications - alot of people who have ongoing emotional troubles have thoughts about taking too much of their medication ... but it doesnt mean that you will necessarily do anything about it.

Your doctor may want you to make a promise to him/her, to perhaps call him if you are ever tempted to OD ... or maybe he might want you to give your tablets to a family member or friend to help you manage them so that you're not tempted to OD. There are plenty of options available to you and your doctor, if either of you are concerned that you might take an OD.

Once when I was very suicidal, my doctor called up my local pharmacist, and told him to only give me 10 tablets at a time .... which wasnt enough medication to do much damage if I did take them all. It was a bit of a pain having to go the to pharmacy every 5 days to pick up my medication (I took 2 tablets per day), but I guess it kept me safe, and that was the main thing.
And the most important thing for you too, with regards to these thoughts about ODing Sofie, is that you are also kept safe.

I hope things worked out for you at your doctor's appointment Sofie .... if you wouldnt mind posting an update, then I'd be sure interested in reading how things went for you.

Take care. xxx
