depends where you are, to be honest. the team where i am don't have a problem with my hearing stuff like that, and they only really admit people to hospital if they're a danger to others or have already done something and need physical treatment. but some authorities/people can react much more and make a bigger deal of it than it it is for you. bottom line, if you want help with it, you need to tell someone, but i wouldn't like to predict what response you'll get. good luck
