Personally I always check English notes cos i'm not used to them so i have no problem with people checking my notes when i go to England. And regarding Scottish notes being easier to copy, every time my dad gets fake money in his work its got 'bank of England' on it. Its only easier in England becos ppl arent used to it, so its easier to spend fake English notes up here. simple. My only issue is that soemtimes people hav been wrong changing me ie thinking £20s are £10s--> happened in London the other week but realli dont get much hassle anymore unlike when i was a kid.
I like our own bank notes cos we are our own country. Each country with the euro has their own little thing going on. But we are our own country with our own government so why should we not have our own bank notes?? I understand that we are part of the UK but most people i know would not say they are british, not to cause trouble only that we're proud to be Scottish and dont see why we should have to conform. We have our own laws, education systems etc too.
And Northern Ireland notes, i always accept at my work-although ther are quite a few people that will refuse to take them in their change so they normally end up being banked.
Neways yes i like the notes and for me its English notes that confuse me cos i rarely have to deal with them.
