glad you went sweet, hope the citalopram is a help to you think that is a pretty standard 1st med, thats what i was on...for a wk, made me too ill but the side effects seem very different for each person so dont let my bad experiences put you off :)
did the dr suggest any ways of loosing the weight?rather than just saying you are overweight?
whens your next appointment? if things dont improve make sure you tell them...altho the meds can take 4-6wks to kick in....but if they suggest referral to camhs or cmht then i would accept it. i HATE counselling and have tried a few times over 10 years and always found it complete utter waste of time...but i was referred to cmht and my care worker is fab and i really think she will help get me better :)
