How long have you been having DBT?And why don't you think it is helping you?
If the mirtazapine worked on a lower dose before then hopefully it should work on a higher dose, I doubt your doctor would have increased the dosage unless he thought it would work.
In regards as to what you can do, well just don't give up no matter how much you feel like it. As long as you are continuing with your therapy and taking your meds you are doing all you can. And as long as you are trying to keep yourself as safe as you can then hopefully you can stay out of hospital.
