To be honest, I think the clear instruction of what can be discussed in what room is a lot easier. When I've mentioned that people may like to branch off into a general/mixed/serious room, I've been told the room descriptions aren't clear enough and hopefully this will eliminate that problem. It isn't restrictive because it was like this before - just with cosier names. We still had general chat rooms, mixed chat rooms and serious chat rooms and we do now. Except it's clearer for everyone and easier for the moderators to let people know when the conversation could be better suited to another room.
