That's kind of the point in the room names now. People would take over Serious discussion and, I've even witnessed it, people would be ignored when asking for support in a support only room because those into their general conversation wouldn't get out.

Clearly people weren't considerate enough to leave the support rooms open and use the general/mixed rooms appropriately, so the name changes have been done as so to prevent confusion and to hopefully get people to use the rooms they wish to.

If you're keen on supporting someone, then feel free to go into a support room and do your deed, no matter what your mood is. It's not trying to be that restrictive and, really, this could have all been prevented had people used the rooms appropriately.

Hopefully now people can do so. And, like Rike, usually I've seen a maximum of two or three rooms being used. There are three rooms where general talk can take place. There are three rooms where supportive talk can take place. I don't really see the issue.
