Hey i have spoken to a few people and left a comment on another thread. I did so when anger because of the way people would not listen to my views so i am going to rephrase it in a nicer less angry way :)
I preferred the old chat as being inside a room made me feel more like i was n a place with people i felt the atmosphere i enjoyed, for example, feeling like i was on a HUGE comfy couch with loads of nice people. I just think it had a nice touch.
When you entered a room there was an explanation which were a little confusing so maybe as a suggestion could the rooms have names and then in a bracket or something have completely serious, serious, general etc.
Also we have lost 2 rooms is it. i think having 5 rooms would be nice. It has bee explained to me that studies show u had empty rooms all the time one will always be empty but, 1. i dont have huge faith i can go with a person quietly to speak alone. 2. That if there is a free room i now do not feel like i should go there if it was mostly general i would think i now cant go there to speak about my serious problem.
When loads of people are in one room I (and others) really dont like it. a small handful of people within the room will dominate, I was told "oh well make friends and chat" but when ever you try you are ignored. So having less people in a room is nice especially when meeting or introducing new people or you want to talk to people you know here.
This site has been very very helpful to me. even when i am not wanted help myself i am here to offer other and keep in touch with people who have helpt me and been nice when i have needed it.
So maybe to re name the rooms add another and have what they are called now as a sub heading to make it simpler for new people.
There was no way of me personaly knowing the rooms were goign to change maybe a questionaire sent to all members would help let the Mods know what we want.
and finally i think this should be a thread now used for people to express what they really liked about old chat and the new so a combination could possibly be made.
