3 questions
 

There was just a few questions I wanted to ask:

1.How do add links to the main site? Do you have to go through a moderator so they can make sure it's suitable?

2. I noticed that when you used the "Search" facility it only searches the forums. Could it be possible to get some kind of search facility for the main site to make searching for articles easier. What do you guys think?

3. There was a discussion a long while back about the rules for mentioning programmes with ED's in and when you were allowed to mention them so as not to risk triggering people. Has anything been decided about that and would it be a good idea to put that in the ED rules sticky. This isn't because I've seen anybody breaking any rules there and in fact I think programmes are hardly mentioned but it might be good to have it formalised just in case. I'm not sure whether the same discussion ever included programmes with self harm in and I wondered if you guys thought there should be any rules regarding posting programmes that have self harm in. I'm not really sure how I feel about it, I'm just wondering how everybody else feels.

Harley has tried to make the "search" cover the main site, but I believe it didn't work, was too complicated, and cannot be done (either without great effort or is impossible, I can't recall).

I think some links you can just add up using an input on the main site. Otherwise PMing Camilla (random.swirls) or Emily (~invisible~girl~) who can edit those things [and deem them appropriate as well].

Just wondering, how long do submitted links take to be added to the main site? Do they have to go through some sort of checking process?

They're manually being added by Cam (random.swirls), bless her. So it may take her a while, but don't worry. :)
