Eurovision song contest 2009
Anyone going to watch it?
I expect I will. I pretty much always do, every year. Not because I like it. But there's rarely anything else on, and I have nothing better to do :[ I absolutely adore last year's Bosnia&Herzegovina(yess. spelt it right first time) entry- [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V_tspk1ifFI"]YouTube - Eurovision 2008 Final Bosnia & Herzegovina - Laka - Pokusaj[/ame] I've had it on my iPod ever since :] Here's hoping there's someone good on tonight. What do you think of the UK's chances of winning? As low as ever? |
OMG THAT WAS MY FAVE ONE :):):):)
i am soooooooooooo watching it AWSOME |
wow. I linked to that youtube vid and it embedded itself.
It's magic! ^.^ |
i loved that entry too!
but i say nothing beats france 2007 [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P4VcSQE7DXg"]YouTube - Eurovision 2007 - France[/ame] |
Ohh it won't be the same without Wogan.
However, as favourite acts go - Lithuania were robbed in 2006. ROBBED. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=puka5XaVIyI"]YouTube - Eurovision 2006 LITHUANIA we are the winners (Lt United)[/ame] |
That Lithuania one was 3 years ago!? I remember it so well! I can't believe it's been 3 years. How time flies.
I don't remember that french one :x but I like it. The bald bloke who prances around is making me laugh xD |
I'm watching it with my little bro tonight :)
|
running on empty, it feels like it was just last year, doesn't it! Ohhhh gotta love a bit of Eurovision.
|
I knowww, right?
I can't believe it. I'm actually getting quite excited about tonight now, xD I liked the Pirates one from last year. Latvia, I think it was. (edit: i'd check, but youtube's not working for me atm :[ ..)[/edit] ^.^ |
Molitva from 2007 was my favourite of all time. The manly looking woman just made my night =P
I'm deffo watching it with my mum tonight but I bet we'll lose again, even with Andrew Lloyd Weber's song. |
I'll probably have it on whilst trying to study, but without Wogan it'll be crap. His comments were what made it so good. We all know that the voting is all political and with the Baltic states all voting for one another the chances of any Western European country winning are slim.

^^tru dat.
Looking back at some of last years entries I...actually like quite a few of them. :X I don't remember if I liked them at the time, or if I just like them now. -shrug- Here's hoping I like some of the ones on tonight. Although, I will miss Wogan's commentary, that is what really made Eurovision what it is. |
I'll be watching Britain's Got Talent! I think my Dad wants to watch the start of Eurovision though.
|
i will watch it because i have nothing else to do.
|
Le Royaume-Uni: Nil points.
|
i'm gonna watch it!
dad's making pizza and we're forcing him to watch too! i love andrew lloyd weber's music usually, but i've not heard this new song yet. the wolves of the sea song should have won last year!!!! omg. anyone else seen the suit graham norton's wearing in the advert?! sequins shaped like the union jack....it's scary!! lol |
Youtube's not working for me either *grumbles*. I do watch it pretty much every year, if only to complain and be a bit of a grump. =] I'll miss Wogan though!
I reckon Estonia has a great chance; they're my favourites this year. xx |
