CPA meeting
ok so tomorrow is my cpa meeting for me to move from child to adult services. im super nervouse because i havent been told what to expect.
all i know is that im going to have to talk about things which means my cutting and the SA im so worried because i said my mum could come but now my dad wants to go aswell and i couldnt tell him no so now hes going but the biggest problem is him and my head psych doesnt get on at all the last time they saw each other there was a huge arguement about my mental health. im just so scared should i tell them im suicidal should i tell them my cuttings really bad should i tell them how all i can think about is dying. i dont know what i should or shouldnt say. im scared if they know how i truely feel they may section me because of my previous 3 suicide attempts :crying: |
Hey sweetheart,
I really think you should tell them. I know it's scary but remember what you were saying to me earlier - they need to know how you're doing so that they can keep you safe - and you need to be safe so you can send me silly PMs! *hugs* I'm not sure that I can really help you with what to expect because my CPA which transferred me to adult services took place when I was discharged from hospital so I'm guessing it would be a bit different. But I should think it would be similar to previous CPAs just with more people there. Can you say to your dad that he can come but if he makes a fuss you'd like him to leave. Maybe you could talk to your mum about it and see if she has any suggestions and mention it to someone from your team if you can. Good luck sweetheart and I'm here for you xxxxx |
if he kicks off i'll just walk out.

remember this is supposed to be about you not your parents. maybe your parents could come with you but not into the meeting? or maybe you could ask your dad not to cause a fuss.
Hope it all goes well though. xxx |
