Best/Worst pet names?
 

So I'm buying my husband a maine coon (BIG cat) kitten for his birthday and I want to tell him it's called Sir Fluffykins the 3rd... Just to see peoples reactions to the name :P

But it got me thinking... what are the best/worse pet names you've heard???

*headdesk* that is a terrible name.

It also makes the cat's owner sound gayer than a row of pink tents with rainbow flags at an elton john concert.

my cats were called Magic and Merlin.

my ex boyfriend had a rabbit called flopsy which made me laugh no end :)
i think its really funny when i meet animals with really normal names like i know joe the dog and laura the hamster which amuses me :)

How big a cat are we talking here Jess. because google say's this is a main coon.

Flopsy is a very traditional name for a rabbit.
granted it's a name only six year old girls usually give their bunny's but it's still traditional.

to understand the extent of the humour i think you would have to meet my ex XD

it seems i've ben lucky enough to only meet people with good taste in pet names. the only hilarious ones i've ever heard were on TV shows.

My cats called Kitty xD.
So original.

My dog is called Islay (its an island in Scotland). However I never really call her that, more often its Babycake or Honeypie or Squidge or something equally soppy because I love her so much :)

My fish are called;

Skoda

Bracket

Noob
TARDIS.

(I didn't name them all, so...my friends are weird)

My gerbils were called Steve & Jinx, and the cat is called cat.

Beat that for stupid names.

since you mentioned fish. I remembered that I knew someone who called their fish Bob and Bob-Bob.
not weird, just a lack of imagination.

I used to have a budgie called pecker =P and my cat is called lucky so Im somewhat normal although I recall wanting to actually call my budgie shark...

My Dad used to have fish called Spec, Tess and Tickles!

We used to give our chickens ridiculous names, at one point we had chanticleer, pertilot, mavis, victoria and eric partridge.

I used to have fish called tiger and lily, and two hamsters archimedies and nostradamus.

Lily died, and tiger killed himself after.

Nostradamus killed archimedies, and I dont know how nostradamus is anymore :(

how does a fish kill itself? or should i not ask?

Millipedes : only 2 of them have names.. bertrum and princess

cockroaches : only one of them has a name.. russel

mice : dont have names yet


umm.. thats all my current pets anyways, well the ones with names, some of them dont yet, cos theres to many to remember, and only the ones who need them have them lol

and that name for that cat is just.. wrong lol

my auntie had a cat called dog once.. cos she wanted a dog.. xD and a fried ofmine called her rabbiit hamster

my dog was called brandy (he died in sept :-( )

and my cat is named after casper the friendly ghost lol

my uncle called his dog shadow, good name actually cos it followed everyone everywhere lol
