Amusing comments.

I am not talking about amusing in the negative sense, but I am talking about amusing as in it made you laugh. I have a few classic ones:

On March 1st, a friend and I were wearing our SIAD T-shirts. Girl:

"Why are you wearing orange?"
"Self injury awareness day."
"Oh, are you really clumsy?

We both lost it. We couldn't keep from just cracking up. We did explain.

My doctor today:

"Hi, Rusty, how are you doing?"
"I'm okay. Well, I was in a crisis home a couple weeks ago but I'm okay."
"What was the crisis?"
"I was suicidal."
"Oh. That's not good."

It was just the way he said it that amused me. *shrug*

The first really made me laugh.
I wish I could think of some to share!

Sometimes Crazy 30-04-2009 12:11 AM

This one was from a little "bonding session" with my mum.

She'd hurt herself accidentally in the garden, and I (being the one with the extensive first aid kit :\) was patching it up for her. She said about how it must be different if you do it deliberately though, etc. It went something like this:

Me: To be honest, sometimes I don't really feel it.
Mum: I can understand like, switching off from reality and what's going on sometimes.
Me: Yeah.
Mum: Can you feel it more often though? Because pain isn't good really, is it? I mean, it hurts.

Bless her.
