Things to do at a therapist's office *joke*
1.Ask to borrow a comb, comb your tongue.
2.Take random objects in his office and glue them to the floor. 3.Refuse to cooperate unless he trades his pants. 4.Bring pots and pans. Bang them together when he asks a question you don't like. 5.After everything he says, say, "And how does that make you feel?" 6.Point at random things and say, "Where did you get that?" 7.Complain that his chair looks more comfortable. 8.Repeat over and over, "I'm not hanging out with a bad influence, I AM a bad influence!" 9.Sit underneath your chair. 10.Stand on your head. 11.Kill spiders on the wall with your fist. Eat what sticks to your hand and leave the rest sticking to the wall. Draw a circle around it to make sure everyone sees it. 12.Never stop smiling. 13.Scream every word. 14.Repeatedly tell him to look at the ceiling. When he finally does, repeatedly tell him to look at the chair. When he finally does, repeatedly tell him to look at the desk, etc... 15.Put your shoes on the wrong feet. 16.Try to seduce him with chocolate donuts. 17.Try to talk him into sitting on the floor. 18.Tell him Matlock is the key to all your problems. 19.Eat his books. 20.Talk to his leg. 21.Don't face him when he talks to you. 22.Talk really slowly. 23.Try to eat your hand. 24. If he offers you coffee, ask him to spill it on your lap. 25.Make sure you make butt-prints in his couch. 26.Pretend you hear music. 27.Tell him you think his secretary is really a man. 28.Pretend to drink. 29.Offer him an imaginary cookie. See how many you can do before it gets commented on. :-D |
Ha! Brilliant. 3, 4 and 5 are the best.
|
I've actually come very close to doing number 9 before :/ But yeah good list :)

LMAO I should try that lol and I once thought about sitting on the floor in his office but then I wouldn't be able to get up and I'd look like a right knob. |
I'd love to try some of those, except my therapist would probably just send me away if I did. She's already trying to send me to a DBT clinic off-campus (even though I'm not actually a good candidate for DBT) and keeps suggesting that we meet for half as long and stuff. I might try some of those with my therapist at home over the summer though... I think she'd find some of them amusing...
Or I could try them at a staff meeting at work this summer -- a whole room full of therapists! Except that my mom's the director of the clinic, so I'd probably be in trouble for it... I just wish I could stand on my head for long enough, cause that wouldn't even be too disruptive... |
Hahahahahaha! Seduce them with a chocolate doughnut? God, I would love to be a fly on the wall if someone tried that :p
|
Well, unless someone was also doing number 11 and there were no spiders....
|
I always talk to his leg. Always. And I never ever look at him.
|
I love them!!! :D:D Absolutely fantastic!!!
Hehehe seduce someone with a chocolate doughnut??! :D:D Now that seems to me like a challenge!!!!!:D:D Heheehe the last ridiculous personality/mental assesment thing that I had in school I was very blatantly messing, like I was asked 'What would you do if you saw smoke coming from your neighbours garden?' The tone that I was asked in clearly indicated that something was supposed to be on fire and the 'proper' reaction would be to say you'd call the fire dept. So my reply was 'I'd assume they were having a barbeque!' To which he asked 'And if they ran out of the house on fire themselves?' He was being ridiculously serious and had a funny moustache so I could't help but to say 'Well personally I'd think the neighbour was a bit cold and was going on a jog to heat themselves up, clearly they had set themselves on fire to quicken the process' He thought I was serious and put me in a remedial class, it was so hard to keep a straight face!!!! :) hehe |
ha nice list.
I am not brave enough to try some of them but i would love to. |
I've done 5 and 17. I did five to get a point across, and he actually apologised after becasue it's ****ing annoying! :P 17 was becasue the chair in his office was so ****ing uncomftable and I refused to talk to him while I was sitting on the floor and he was in his chair :P He got new chairs by the next time i saw him :P
|
HAHAHA!!!!! That's such a great list!! I wish I could try some of these, but I wouldn't be able to keep a straight face long enough.
|
haha you could do that! Just laugh and laugh and laugh and when they ask what'swrong just tll them it's a personal joke between the two of you *indicate another person sitting next toyou* and that they wouldn't understand :P
