A recovery pledge. (I plan to post any progress here.)

Hello, I realise that this post may seem a slightly odd idea; so I shall explain.

Tomorrow is the 28th of April, this would have been Isaac Jay Willis' 18th birthday. He never got there.
I loved him dearly and wanted to show him something special this year on what would have been one of his most important birthday's he would have ever had. I considered lighting candles or writing for him but I found something that he would have needed more.

He didn't get there- I pledge that I will. I will be 18, 21, 30, 40. I pledge that I will stay alive in his memory.

Starting from tomorrow I shall count my days without self harm (including through eating disorders) I will record it and I plan to use RYL bracelets to mark the time passed.

I want to be better.
I want to live.
I want to say on my 18th birthday "I made it."

A note to Isaac: I could never have got this far without your love, even after death.

Sophie.

Day 10: no slip ups.

(Technically day 17 but I'm going to stick with from the 28th as my start date.)

I love you guys.

It is still going- if not well. I am now 13 days (20 techincally) free and am finding it very difficult. But, it's not for me as much as for him. I can draw some strength from that.
