sis with bpd
 

My 20 year old sister started having some trouble last august. She started meeting guys off myspace, having sex with anyone who wanted, and drinking. She would admit to there being a problem but continue doing those things. It eventually led to a diagnosis of bpd. She doesnt feel anything is wrong with her and moved to a whole different state where she does whatever and whoever she wants. We live in constant worry that she'll get killed, pregnant, or put in jail. I've told her that i can't talk to her till she decides to get help, but i still hear what shes doing from other family members. And i don't know what to do, im so mad about her illness. Its just really hard not to say f**k you to her cause part of it is her mental illness.

havn't got bpd but know people with it. perhaps it might help to post in the bpd thread? there are lots of members who have it so they'd probably be able to advise you better? sorry, it can be hard dealing with someone with a mental illness but theres always help avaliable
