why us?

i hate mental illness.......who chose us to have a crappy life and others to have a good life?! *cries*

I wish i knew the answer for you but of course i don't.
The only thing i know is that we are stronger people for this, even if we don't feel it.

Just because you have a mental illness doesnt mean you cant have a good life, its all how you make it really, you can choose to let it become part of you, or to stand tall and get on with life.

I know it isnt easy, but you define your life, not an illness

I agree with bleeding angel

mental illness does not prevent you from having a good life... granted it makes alot of things more difficult... but it's a case adaptation, we just have a different life to others... not a worse one as such...

though ye, I do agree... at times it does seem so unfair and frustrating... knowing that your illness causes difficulties in things that other will take for granted, etc...

I know how you feel, sweet. xo.

You are so right. Very little in this tends to be fair..so many people seem to have it easy. *gentle hugs*

i wish it weren't the case. but a true thing is: you have to play the hand you're dealt. which is awfully hard work. but there's little other choice. xxx

My mother always says, as I bring this up all the time, is that we are given hardships because we are capable of handling them, moving through them, and in turn helping others through theirs.

And by the way, just because we have mental illness(es) doesn't mean we can't live a productive or even happy life. We can manage our syptoms, talk through our problems, and maybe have a helping hand if we need it through medication(s).
