I just got some idiot open an unrecieved item case with me :( I already said id refund them but now its just taken the money AND postage outta my account! I paid the postage regardless *sniffle*

And now i dunno what to do cuz i cant like...close the case, they have to..so the money will remain taken outta my account right o.0; N the whole stupid things but my paypal account on hold which is NOT fair! I cant move money anywhere waaah :crying:

Send them a message asking them to close the case.

I did, just hoping they coperate cause they were being really rude before, just annoyed cause now im gonna have to pay them back AND theyre so gonna get the item in a month :(

Do you have proff of postage? like a recipt?

you have to have proof of them receiving it, proof of postage is not enough.
some conman had us like that.
the paypal person was a different name to the ebay person. so we sent to ebay address.... lost £60
we didnt have money in our paypal at that point and years later we still havent lost our money. just never use that paypal again.
either open a new account somewhere specifically for paypal and resign up, or use someone elses (with their permission) We use my dad's and then pay them whenever we buy something.

yeah someone ordered a game and got it sent to my flat, because he must have been a past occupant and didnt bother to look at the adress when he ordered it, we signed for it, because we didnt look at who it was for, we assumed it was for my flatmate, but no, there wasnt any return adress or anything so we kept it.

i've had loads of problems with this kind of thing. Hence why i send EVERYTHING out recorded delivery so i always have proof of postage and delivery! And i keep the reciepts for up to two months after the sale date. Flipping conmen.

The only thing i can suggest is what has already been suggested, about opening another paypal account and sending the funds in your held account to another one.

Thanks everyone :) I think its mostly sorted..they were being generally ignorant AND they didnt speak good english (theyre italian) so it was even harder but ive made the refund to them so im hoping theyll shut the case now..

As for the money paypal took outta my bank without asking...i dunno where it went...when i made the payment it poofed somewhere...
Still annoyed they can take money without my permission tho...

they cant.
the only way they recover their funds is if you use paypal to buy something, anything transferred from the bank will be used to clear a minus balance first, before paying for anything.
