Poem I wrote.
 

MASK

She sits and listens
jsut like she's supposed to
Or pretends, at least
she hasn't actually listened
in a long time
It's all she's ever known
No one to understand
the pain
the lies
all the tears she has cried
covered up by a mask
"the girl that has it all"
they don't know what it's like
with this pain inside
eating you alive
inside out.
