What i learnt from the RYL.
I've been thinking about this post recently,
I feel myself 'grown' since i first joined here.. I am more able to support people when they need, even if i don't have an advice I would still feel that i can listen to them and make them feel welcomed and not judged. I have gained a lot of information about EDs/SI/other mental illnesses and how to deal with them, how to support a loved one. I am aware that I am certainly not alone in this. I learned that i have so many people on here , oceans away from me that would care about me, I learned that people actually care. I know that people are not all the same, you just need to know who you want to put ur trust in. I learned that there are amazing people running the site (starting with the staff and with the active members replying to the others posts and huging them). Roby *offers hugs to all* =] xx |
