I hate spammers
 

Yet another person made it onto RYL with only the intention of trying to "sell" us something.
I'm ****ing sick of this bullshit. Why the hell do they think we'll ever be interested? I dn't even read the emails they send, why would I suddenly change my mind just because they placed a message on the forum?

I was once part of a forum where they got attacked so much by spambots they had to make it so you have to send a PM to one of the mods to prove you're a real person and want to post =\

It's ridiculous, as if anyone is going to buy any of the crap they sell from a random spambot - usually stuff like viagra lol

One day in chat there was someone looking for people to be on some kind of tv program in the Los Angeles area. Yes, I did report it to the mods. I'd have to check and see if she's been here since.

To me, that messes with us being able to talk freely and openly. It reduces our emotional safety.

Spam is amusing.

Spammers annoy me in chat but not so much in forums, but depends which forums to be fair.

There was a random guy who came into a thread I was in one time and asked if I wanted some brass piping, and gave me a link to some. How odd. Sadly, I turned him away. O_o
