Males tend to be more extreme. So are more likely to resort to other destructive behaviours (eg. drug addiction, alcoholism, fighting).

Yes - and RYL often had trouble knowing how to handle them. They often let them run amuck thinking it nice - then they squished them after having done so. Alas we lost a lot of the buggers along the way, and if people didn't know Ruin or V2 they might not guess how many there used to be (but still not a lot).

That's ok - we like Sheffield people - its the people from places like "Eye on Suffolk" we are wary off.

Sure I remember Tyler. He was on Ruin during early months V2 first opened and he spent most of his first RYL time on there. I was there a lot myself and was in his "shot and a pill" threads (don't ask). I had a different take on him though being a guy who was older than him and from New York (which doesn't mean anything in the present context except that I saw the "Rap" vibe he affected differently from the UK people who saw it as more of a novelty where for me it was an everyday thing.

He was honest but I would also say yes it was "brutally" so - but generally toward the 14 - 16 yr old girls. If a person got back in his face he was quite the puppy. His Rap forum members used to beat the heck out of him for being afraid to leave the house (and he was).

He still fits the paradigm I mentioned above though. He was just average
dood on Ruin but V2 brought the worst out of him imo. When he came to V2 with the "tude" and made the sig about the "Dizrespectaz" gang and a hit list of members that was a clue to have him tone down the hostility but the site tried to "work with it" and pretty much brought the worst out of him as a result. Indeed, AN was a major reason RYL got too strict about posts as they tried to put the toothpaste back in the tube. Alas the site created the prob being overly indulgent too early on. When people push and others let them it causes the pusher to hate the weakness in people more because they see the "tolerance" as lack of love (in the spiritual "agape" sense) and a tease to have contempt. I have Lots of memories concerning
V2 and the things that coulda, woulda, shoulda happened.
