Thats It!!! I've Had It!!!

This time I've cut to die but I sort of decided that it was a bad idea after all and know I am sort of bleeding a bit uncontorlable WHAT SHOULD I DO??? HELP PLEASE!!!

Bitter_Angel 08-07-2007 10:39 PM

Use a clean dressing and apply pressure to the wound.
Do not remove it for at elast 10mins. If it bleed through the dressing, put another one on top!!!

LittleVampp 08-07-2007 10:41 PM

Is there must point... really wouldn't it be better to let it bleed!!!

LittleVampp 08-07-2007 10:48 PM

Sorry about that feeling sooooo low at the min I just can't cope what did you say I should do??

Aidee 08-07-2007 10:49 PM

If it is spurting, then call an ambulance RIGHT NOW. If it's not spurting put a thick dressing of some sort on it, a towel will work, and elevate it above your heart. If the bleeding has not stopped in 10 minutes then you need to go to the A&E right away. Do not drive, do not walk, do not take a bus. Have your parents, a friend or an ambulance take you.

LittleVampp 08-07-2007 11:05 PM

What she said call an ambulance right now, and maybe when they've sorted it tell them about the OD. they can help.

LittleVampp 08-07-2007 11:16 PM

DO I have to go up there again??? Can't I just hold this towel on it???

Dakota 08-07-2007 11:17 PM

Hi, like the first aid adviser has said you really need to go get checked out. If it hasn't stopped after 10 minutes it's highly unlikely to stop of it's own accord now, without any medical attention.

Just a side note you live pretty close to me :)

Take care *hugs*

LittleVampp 08-07-2007 11:21 PM

But I was down there the other day with a OD :o Surly if I just keep applying plessure it will stop wouldn't it?

Bitter_Angel 08-07-2007 11:23 PM

Chances are if it has not stopped by now, its not going to stop on its own.
You need to go to hospital!
No arguements. There is no other treatment. There is no way you can stop it at home if it is still bleeding!!

Dakota 08-07-2007 11:23 PM

It doesn't matter if you were down there the other day. You need medical attention. Thats what the hospital is there for. A few months back i had to go 4 times in 2 weeks and on the second occasion i had to stay in and be put on a drip for 2 days because of an od. It doesn't matter how many times you go. But it does matter that you need medical attention.

*hugs*

LittleVampp 08-07-2007 11:29 PM

Ok then.... I will go down there... I don't know when I will be back.....

Dakota 08-07-2007 11:30 PM

I'm glad your going. Let us know how you get on when your back.

*hugs*

howlie, 08-07-2007 11:49 PM

LittleVampp 09-07-2007 12:39 AM

I'm back.... It when ok I've got a dressing ok it and everything I've been given some painkillers with I don't think was a good idea but oh well..... It doesn't look to nice and I've got college tomorrow:sad: How the hell am I going to explain this one  ?????

Dakota 09-07-2007 12:41 AM

I'm glad you went and got it seen to. You don't have to explain to anyone. However if you don't feel cofortable why not put a tubie grip bandage over it and say you sprained it, thats if the area is sprainable.

Good luck
