Has anyone else heard about the party that was advertised on Myspace?
It was on the news, her parents were away and about 200 people turned up.

Scary!

The mother of a 17-year-old girl whose party guests caused £20,000 of damage to her parents' home says the family may have to move out permanently.
About 200 youngsters turned up at the £230,000 home in Houghton-le-Spring, County Durham, after the bash was advertised on the internet.

Rachael Bell denies advertising the event on MySpace while her parents were away and claims her profile was hacked.

Her mother Elaine said the house now has "too many horrible memories".

She said: "It's absolutely unbelievable. It was a house I'd left at 10am on Monday morning in an immaculate state.

"It's like a house assault - every single room's trashed. Every carpet is burned, they've been stamping out cigarettes on them.

"They urinated in the wardrobes, pulled my clothes out of the wardrobes and stubbed cigarettes out on them. The beds are burnt. There's food and messages all over the walls.

"At this point in time I might not be able to live in the house again - I might have to move because there are so many horrible memories now."

Jewellery stolen

She said her daughter was now staying with friends for a "cooling off" period.

The youngster had expected 30 or 40 people at the party on Easter Monday, but 200 turned up.

Party-goers urinated on a wedding dress and stole jewellery from the house in Chipchase Court.


The house is being professionally cleaned

Some also swung from ceiling light fittings, vomited throughout the house and barricaded the back door to prevent neighbours from intervening.

Mr and Mrs Bell returned on Tuesday morning to find the trail of destruction.

They have since made a formal complaint of criminal damage to Durham Police, who have confirmed they will be interviewing the 17-year-old and as many guests as possible.

A force spokesman said some people travelled hundreds of miles to be at the party.

Speaking on Friday, Mrs Bell said she had urged her daughter to co-operate fully with officers.

She said: "I haven't forgiven her as yet because she shouldn't have had an unauthorised party in the first place.

"But she needs to let us know some of the people who caused this. She must know. I'm begging her to give the names to police."

I wonder if she regrets it.

The only thing that could make this story funnier is if they wrote "peed" instead of "urinated."

But, woah. I better go un-announce that party I had on my mspace. Because, you know. I hold parties. And stuffs.

I read about it in the Times, she advertised it on myspace to be like "Skins". And when everyone turned up and started wrecking the house, she ran off to a mates house.
