just been attacked, i have a swollen eye!
 

I have just been hit across the head with the heal of the shoe and it caught the corner of my left eyebrow and it keeps swelling and it really hurts, its just a bit smaller than a marble. what should i do, i was hit pretty hard.

Did it hit you eye at all? or just the tissue surrounding your eye?

not my eye but just above it, just missed my eye

Did you lose consciouness at all?
How is your vision?

no and my vision is fine, i just feel a bit faint but maybe cause im in a bit of shock

Sounds like it may be a bruise on the bone cause the eye area is very boney. Try a cool flannel on it.

Well as standard with any head injury you should probably be checked out by a doctor just to make sure there is no permant damage.

As for the swelling, you should apply some ice to it to miniminse the swelling/bruising.
The best way to do this is either frozen peas or ice in a platic bag, then wrapthis up in a towel. Apply that to the area for 15minutes. Then take it off. After 45minutes, do it again. So its sort once an hour for 15 minutes.

If you feel sick or drowsey you should seek further treatment right away.
