25+ y/o members?
 

I need some support.... badly... I've been cut free for a bit over 3 years but with my 8 month old son driving me up a wall in the past week or so (he's going through a stage... or three) I've wanted to cut every day and I need to talk to someone who's possibly 25 years or older so at any stage but able to give some support... because In the chat room I feel so old, they are full with youngsters! :)

I think children at sometime or another always drag their parents up a wall. I don't have children but I know there are people on here that do. We're all friendly and I hope you feel at home here :)

3 years is a great achievement, well done.

I don't have children of my own but lived through 4 1/2 years of having a step-child so I really do understand how they can make you feel, especially when they have a phase.

I totally understand how you feel, being a parent can be very overwhelming, especially with an 8 month old.

There is a thread in Vets thats about children. Lots of the lovely Vets have kids around the same age as yours. They talk about teething and other problems they are going through.

You should be very very proud of yourself that you have been over 3 years harm free.

You might try chat after 8pm in your time zone. I'm 3 hours behind you, usually come into chat around 9-10pm your time. There are some other adults there too.

Hello, my names Ally and I'm 25. I've also been cutting for about three years.

Feel free to PM if you would like, I'm pretty easy to talk to (suppose it helps that I majored in psych while in Uni, lol). I will try to get back to you ASAP though sometimes it takes me a day or two, depending on how I am feeling (though with such thing as PMs I am pretty good as one of the things 'I do' -just how I explain it- is listen to folks and help them talk things through).

I'm 36, soon to be 37, so know what you mean about feeling old on here! I don't have any kids but I do have a 12 year old neice who I'm quite close to. But at least with that I can give her back! Have you got a sister/brother you can hand your baby over to for a little while? Even so you can just to go and make a snow man outside?

But congrats on being 3 years + free! I can\t make 3 months at the moment.
